Kelly Lake

With a deep passion for helping non-profits achieve their goals, Kelly Lake is a seasoned fundraising professional with 25 years of experience in the Independent School sector.  Proficient in diverse areas such as major gift fundraising, brand building, business development, donor relations, and writing, Kelly has a proven track record of designing and executing fundraising strategies and materials that inspire donors and generate substantial revenue.

Prior to joining Rubin and Associates, Kelly served as Director of Development at Whitfield School in St. Louis, Missouri, managing a comprehensive fundraising operation creating and executing development plans to secure annual and major gifts, as well as grants from private and corporate foundations.

Kelly has been recognized for building strong constituent relationships and has a proven track record of success in connecting people.  Her ability to cultivate strong relationships with parents, alumni, trustees, and foundations resulted in an increase in giving of $30 million over a 15-year period, including soliciting and closing the largest single gift in the school’s history.

Kelly also has extensive experience in training and advising non-profit leaders, Boards, and volunteers on fundraising best practices.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Saint Louis University.
